Ginny Beall was born in Oregon and grew up in Southern California. She studied theatre at Santa Monica College and education and library studies at UNLV. With CCSD, she was a teacher and librarian for over 30 years. She now helps out at the Majestic Theatre and sings and plays guitar in an old lady band called the Mundandis.
Christopher Kachurak has created worlds in virtual reality, restored classic cars, designed high heels, improvised with world-class talents, and created collaborative art installations in Orlando, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. He has served as producer to projects with well known faces, taught at UNLV, teamed on 48-Hour Film Projects, and contributed to Las Vegas staples Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil. In his spare time, Chris painfully enjoys challenging himself with philosophy, clowning, sketch writing, music, and anything that pushes him out of his comfort zone.
Paul Matthew Lopez is professional Actor, Clown and Wire Walker most recently starring in the “Best-show-on-the-Strip” ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace as Fat Frank in the finale act the “Frat Pack.” After receiving his BFA from The Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University Theater Conservatory, he attended Dell’arte International School of Physical and Ensemble Theater as a member of the school’s first MFA class. Paul continued his physical education joining the Meirmanov Sports Acro U.S. Men’s-4 National Team where he learned hand-to-hand, tumbling, acrobatics, juggling, FreeStanding Ladder, Teeterboard and more. Paul was a member of the World Renowned Wallenda Family, performing the Seven-Man Pyramid on the High Wire at 30 feet without a net, and continued his wire walking at Caesar’s in Las Vegas. He has clowned with theatre and circus companies such as 500 Clown, The Midnight Circus, The Yankee Doodle Circus, Circus Sarasota, The Actors Gymnasium, and the Zoppe Family Circus. He has performed with the critically acclaimed Lookingglass Theatre Company’s production Hephaestus, a Greek Mythological Circus, at the Goodman Theater. He is also a Teacher and Director of Clown and Circus with outreach programs such as CircEsteem in Chicago and at universities including Northwestern University, Columbia College, and his alma mater Roosevelt University’s Theatre Conservatory. Paul is also a professional actor and producer, and can been seen in films such as The Return of Johnny V, Gino’s Wife, The Margarita Man, Colossal Youth, TeenAge Girl, and Vallery’s Holiday. Darren Pitura has been working throughout North America as a comedic and physical theatre actor for over twenty years. A former member of the famed Second City in Las Vegas, he currently performs as a Lead Clown in Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity and has also performed two comedic roles in Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere. Darren was a lead writer and performer for Cirque du Soleil’s premier One Night for One Drop at the Bellagio's O Theatre. Darren was a member of Canada's famed sketch and improv troupe, The Spleen Jockeys who shared the stage with ABC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway?’s improviser Greg Proops and also opened for David Steinberg, Long John Baldry, and Kim Mitchell, to name a few. They received critical acclaim for their live performances and were featured in CBC National Radio’s Madly Off In All Directions, Canada Eh?, and Manitoba Eh?, CBC’s Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and The Brent Butt Show on ZeD TV. In film and TC, Darren has played a recurring role on SpiegelworldTV's The Gazillionaire web series, has conducted man-on-the-street interviews for Lions Clubs International, and has starred in featured roles in the movies Marathon, Popovich: Road to Hollywood, and Cord. Currently, he plays the character Stinky in the comedy duo, Stinky and Bunny.
Nina Yasick is a physical actor and clown currently based in Las Vegas, NV. A graduate of Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, she is trained in Commedia Dell'Arte, clown, slapstick, melodrama, and mask work. She also has a B.A. in Theatre Performance from High Point University where she concentrated in contemporary theatre and Shakespeare. Nina believes that theatre provides a window to experience the deeper areas of the human condition that we often keep hidden; it is crucial and vital to our existence. Immersive theatre opens the window for the audience and pushes them down the rabbit hole. She currently works for Cirque du Soleil.
April Allain (Production Stage Manager) is a senior in the Entertainment Engineering and Design Program at UNLV with a minor in Theatre Studies. She is also the Vice President of UNLV’s Student Organization division of the Themed Entertainment Association. Outside of school, she has worked as a production designer for Majestic Repertory Theatre in their productions of Krampus; an Immersive Experience, and their immersive adaptation of Our Town. Noah Bremer (Co-Producing Artistic Director) is a founding member of Live Action Set. He is an award-winning actor, clown, director, and producer of live physical theatre performances. His original creations and collaborations range from intimate to epic. As a performer, he has toured internationally as the lead character role of The Skywatcher in Cirque du Soleil’s big-top production Varekai. Noah holds a B.A. in Theater from The University of Minnesota and is a graduate of The Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater in California. Bill Cameron (Publicity Photographer) is a Minneapolis based photographer who is also a practicing attorney and a retired airline pilot. He specializes in creating images for dance companies, performance artists, organizations and causes that he believes in.
Chef Carolyn Geiger (Caterer) has been working as a professional chef for 29 years. She has worked as a Garde Manger chef at the Rio casino and the Mgm grand supervising events up to 10,000 people. She taught culinary arts at CSN and also taught at Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center for a brief time helping inmates learn basic cooking skills. She has worked in the film industry feeding the hard working film crew and actors while onset and also owned and operated her own restaurant The Market Tea Room for 6 years as well.
Joanna Harmon (Co-Producing Artistic Director) has led Live Action Set since 2009 and the creation of over a dozen full-scale performances across a range of styles including dance-theater, clown, large-scale immersive productions, and multi-day interactive narratives for just 1 participant. She is a member of The Interactive Deep Dive, a think-tank comprised of 10 individuals focused on developing the field of interactive story. Together, they produced OpenMind during the 2018 South By Southwest Festival, which was cited as “one of the most exciting and forward-thinking pieces of immersive work.” She has worked on production teams across the country, including Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, Just Fix It Productions in Los Angeles and Celebration Barn in Maine. As an actor, Joanna has performed with theaters across the country including The Guthrie Theater, The Walker Art Center, The Children's Theater Co., Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, The Florida Repertory Theater, Dangerous Productions, and The Playwrights’ Center. Emmalena Hunt (Costume Coordinator) is a junior at UNLV studying to earn her bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre and Design. She was born an raised in Las Vegas, and has always been a thespian at heart. In the near future she hopes to travel the country (and the world) doing theatre. Emma’s focus is on diversifying the artform and sharing her love of the theatre with underserved communities.
Tyler Olsen-Highness (Writer) has been creating theater for the past 18 years, both locally and internationally. A Minnesota theater artist and teacher, he's the Artistic Director of Dangerous Productions. He’s written and collaborated on a number of interactive performances with Live Action Set, including CRIME & PUNISHMENT and THE BIG LOWDOWN.
Nic Murphy (Publicity Videographer and Photographer) is a film and theater director living in Los Angeles. He is currently directing the immersive theater production WOOLF AND THE WONDERSHOW PRESENTS: CAGES and also for the nonprofit theater company PUBLIC ASSEMBLY of which he is a founding member. Nic is recently most interested in the play between reality/disreality, gender + love in the 21st century, and the connection between live immersive theater and classic filmmaking.
